New:
- Support the new iOS 9 split view multitasking on iPad.
- Support the GRIB layer “specific humidity” and display as computed relative humidity if temperature is also available .
- WeatherTrack does now remember multiple open bubbles while displaying GRIB files. The open bubbles are also remembered if the GRIB file is refreshed.
- A new icon makes it easier to download GRIB files via GRIB Robot/Email for satellite phones.
Improved:
- Searching for cities or airports can be constrained to the selected map area.
- Better icons for the local forecast.
- Use a shorter date format in GRIB files for the current month.
- Bubbles that show a city based ony a nearby location show the the city name in italic.
Fix:
- Fix instability in displaying GRIB layers unknown to WeatherTrack (displayed as numbers).
- Fix thumbnail image for routes or GRIB files that cross the date line.
- Fix instability if a city search specified bounds near the north pole.
- Make sure the grid lines are also visible in the night shade when displaying an extended meteogram.
- Fix for help pages only appearing in English language with iOS 9.x.
- Fix crash that happened occasionally upon stopping the download of the hires map in the in-app store.
- Recalulate route info like distance or fuel consumption if units change.
