To get waves only, for hourly wave forecast and higher resolution, please select NWW3-NAH (Atlantic) or NWW3-NPH (Pacific).

To get a complete forecast and a better coverage for waves, please choose GFS model and select in settings the wave model for GFS, wither NWW3-NAH (Atlantic) or NWW3-NPH (Pacific).
